We support the “One for One” Initiative Dedicated To Planting Trees Around The World

Maverick Musing, a sustainable jewellery company, is proud to announce a partnership with One Tree Planted that aims to plant trees in parts of the world affected by extractivism in the jewellery industry. For every one of a kind jewellery piece purchased online, Maverick Musing will donate to One Tree Planted to plant one tree.

Working with One Tree Planted is a perfect fit for Maverick Musing. Sustainability and protecting our earth is at the core of our business model, and while our designs and packaging materials are second hand, upcycled and recycled, it’s great to have another way to give back and help the environment.

The objectives of this new partnership include:

Reforestation is consistently identified by scientists as one of the top solutions to the climate crisis and the trees planted as part of this initiative will support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Trees are essential to the health of our planet. Planting trees is one of the best ways to combat the damaging effects of climate change. Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80 percent of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity.

The partnership is designed to be simple for customers to get involved in global reforestation. For every item sold from Maverick Musing, the company will give £1 to One Tree Planted to plant trees. The trees are planted by local partner organisations and community volunteers in areas where there has been deforestation due to extractivism in the jewellery industry.
