Second Wind 2.0

I am so excited to finally announce the drop of our latest collection, Second Wind 2.0, which has been a long time coming after putting my heart and soul into every corner of the brand. Seeing Maverick Musing grow from its humble lockdown beginnings to becoming a fully-fledged start-up company with an amazing team, has been a truly meaningful experience which has brought new opportunities and a fresh start. The community we have built in the wake of COVID-19 is one that embodies talent and life, which couldn’t have come around at a more perfect time, when a little joie de vivre is what we all needed most.

This burst of vitality is for sure reflected in the necklaces, bracelets and anklets of this collection, which boasts an array of ethically-sourced recycled beads and crystal gemstones across 20 pieces, providing each one of a kind piece of jewellery, a second wind and opportunity for new life. Whether it’s turquoise, jade, black onyx or pearls you’re after, this collection has something for everyone.

As well as having their own unique history, each piece in the collection holds a different meaning and feel, relative to whatever semi precious gemstones have been used. Crystals, in particular, are known for their spiritual connotations and healing powers. During these times, these crystals can help to revive and steer us in the right direction.

Each piece is finished with a sterling silver clasp. I am striving to be 100% sustainable, but cannot guarantee that all the silver used, although sourced by a top recycled silver supplier, is recycled. I only ever want to be honest to you lovely customers whom I are so grateful for!

It's also worth mentioning our new packaging is secondhand, our stickers are biodegradable, vegan and eco-friendly, and that all of the fabric and backdrops used in the product photography are offcuts and fabric scraps that I have collected over the last 5 years. With a little creativity, I love that we can use recycled and responsibly sourced materials alongside our recycled jewellery.
